Privacy Policy

This policy describes what QuantMarketAI ("we", "us") collects when you use the site, why, and who else sees it. It's written to match what the product actually does, not a generic template — if something here looks wrong, tell us at contact@quantmarketai.io.

QuantMarketAI is operated from São Paulo, Brazil, and this policy is written to meet Brazil's LGPD (Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados). If you're in the EU/EEA or another jurisdiction with its own data protection law, the rights described below (access, correction, deletion) are offered to you on the same terms regardless of where you are.

What we collect

• Account info: email address, and if you sign in with a third-party identity provider, the name and profile info they share for that purpose. Authentication is handled by our backend infrastructure provider; we never see or store your password.
• Usage and billing data: your plan (Free/Pro), credits used and remaining, and — if you subscribe or buy a credit pack — identifiers from our payment processor tied to your subscription. We never see or store your card number; payment details are handled entirely by our payment processor.
• Chart images you upload: sent to third-party AI providers for analysis (see below), and processed locally by an OCR step. We do not keep a permanent server-side copy of the image itself — only the resulting text analysis (bias, score, notes, levels) is stored against your account. The image stays in your browser's temporary session storage and is gone once you close the tab or start a new upload.
• Analysis history and trade setups: the bias, score, structure notes, and (for Pro trade setups backed by real market data) the entry/stop/targets and whether they later hit, so your dashboard history and the platform track record can work.
• A hashed IP address — used only to enforce anonymous-usage and rate limits. We store a one-way hash, not the raw address.

Who else processes it

• AI analysis providers — receive the chart image and associated text to generate the analysis. Subject to their own data-use terms.
• Our database and authentication provider — hosts our database and authentication. Your account and analysis data live there.
• Our payment processor — processes payments and stores your payment method under their own security and privacy practices, independent of us.
• Market data providers — provide market-data lookups (candles for whatever asset/timeframe you query). We don't send them any personal data, only the asset symbol and timeframe.

We do not sell your data, and we don't share it with anyone beyond what's needed to run the service as described above.

Cookies and browser storage

Supabase sets the cookies/local storage it needs to keep you signed in — that's the only session mechanism we use. We separately use your browser's localStorage to count anonymous (not-signed-in) analyses toward the free limit, and sessionStorage to hold your current analysis result and uploaded image temporarily while you're on the dashboard. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you by emailing contact@quantmarketai.io. There's no self-service deletion button in the product yet — until there is, deletion requests are handled manually on request.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the date at the top of this page.
